Pristine  1834 marking sampler hand stitched by M. E Drayton.

It is in perfect antique condition - very unusual for a sampler this old.

Done in blues on beige linen, with a circle border all the way around.

3 alphabets, the numbers1-4 on the second line, 1-10 on the 4th line, and 1-3 on the next to last line. She just filled the space.

Signed and dated.

Fancy border stitches between lines.

10 3/8" x 14', unframed.

Found in Connecticut and dating from 1834.
