This is a large, hand carved eagle with intricate detail.  It was sold to me as a Bellamy, but I do not believe that it is one - the beak is a different shape from the Bellamys I've seen.

Nevertheless,  It is beautifully carved, spread wings, with a shield on the right and an arrow on the left.  The arrow holds the ribbon above which has one carved star in it.

25" x 10" x 5 1/2" deep.

Found in Maine and dating from about 1900.
