C 1820-40 Connecticut Pewter Teapot

C 1820-40 Connecticut Pewter Teapot

  • Hallmarked on the bottom (quite faint) is the mark of Thomas Danforth Boardman and Sherman Boardman who produced pewter wares in Hartford CT from 1825-1854.

This is a lovely pewter teapot with a very soft, mellow patina.

Nice early shape.  Balanced fancy handle and spout.

Very good condition - the only minor flaw is a chip off the edge of the finial.

    8 1/2" tall, 9 3/4" long, 5 1/2" wide.

    $15 shipping
