What a great cobalt design!  This is a small jug - only 1/2 gallon, as marked on the top with "1/2".
The design is a big splashy flower, covering most of the front.
Stoneware with an applied handle.
Rare size, rare design.  9" x 5"
Hairline on one side.
Found in New Hampshire and dating from the 1840s.
