This is a beautifully hand carved clam shell shaped butter print.

It is quite deep, and has a small handle at the back

I  have collected a few of these in different sizes and they are very hard to find.

3 1/4" in diameter, 2" tall.

Found in New Hampshire and dating from the late 1800s.
