This is an early pantry box with thick walls.

It is in its original green paint.

Straight seams with tack and wood peg construction.

It has a piece of old tape both inside and outside on the bottom for no apparant reason.  I have not attempted to take it off.  It does not hide damage of any kind.

Excellent antique condition.

Found in New Hampshire and dating from the 1840s-50s.
