This is a hand made late 18th or early 19th century inkwell, and very unusual in that ii is made of lead. It is roughly round, and completely hollow on the inside. It has two holes in the top - a larger one to pour the ink into, and a smaller one to hold a quill. 1 3/4" wide, 1" tall. Early. Found in New Hampshire. $10 shipping to the US.
