Boought from a private collection in New York, this is an extremely well made buttocks basket with old white caked and chipped early paint.

Round handle extends all around the basket with thin splints covering it as part of the base. 

Perfect antique conditon - no breaks or missing splints.

Great size - 7" x 6" x 7" to the top of the handle.

It has been in my collection for a while.

Dating from the late 1800s or early 1900s.
