Very intricately carved in wood.

A sitting sheep in a very thick piece of wood.

The underside is also carved with a border and leaf designs.

2 nail holes which don't go through - it was probably set on pegs to hold it in place while the content hardened. Probably for candy.

Found in Massachusetts and datiing from the late 1800s
