    Grain painted period frame, mitered with hanging ring.

    Mary Stewart 's biography is on the back.  She was born in Warner, NH in 1809 and moved with her family to Danbury NH where she painted this watercolor.

    The poem says: " To Francis C. Oh may you never want a friend, To share your pensive hours, May heaven it choicest blessings send, And strew your path with flowers."

    Minor foxing.  11" x 12".  Visible is 5 3/4" x 7".
