2 homespun prairie bonnets, one for a child and the other for her mother.
Both are made of homespun using a treadle sewing machine.
One in indigo blue with tiny cream flowers, and the other in pale blue and cream plaid.
The larger has a few small holes on one side.
The child's bonnet is tightl stitched across the top to maintain its shape.
Found together in New Hampshire and dating from the late 1800s.
