A lovely silhouette of a husband and wife done in about 1820.  

The embellishment is lovely - the lady has a lace collar and bonnet with blonde curls showing on her face.  The gentleman has a heavy coat and high collar.  

Some foxing to the background paper.

I have not unframed them, but they appear to be hollow cut.  This looks like the original or very old frame.  The label on the back says "Glosson Ciincinnati".
